The Story
Ricardo Fiel is a shoegaze wizard whose guitar work is nothing short of mesmerizing. With over a decade of experience touring with Portuguese superstar David Fonseca, he has honed his craft and emerged as a solo artist under the moniker Moon Cowboy.His debut EP "Hope" is a stunning masterpiece that seamlessly blends shoegaze, dreampop, and alt-country to create a sound that is uniquely his own. Drawing inspiration from teenage favorites like Ride, Slowdive, The Verve, and My Bloody Valentine, as well as movie soundtracks, his music is a blend of sonic experimentation and beautiful landscapes. Mastered by Slowdive's Simon Scott at SPS Mastering.But he is more than just a talented musician. With a heart for giving back, he started a movement with his debut EP by donating all revenue to a charitable cause - the Deaf Academy UK. He plans to continue this tradition with future releases, turning his music into a force for good and starting a #shoegazeforgood movement.Currently unsigned, he is poised for greatness. With collaborations with producer Darren Allison (Spiritualized, Belle and Sebastian, My Bloody Valentine among others) and Rachel Goswell (Slowdive, Mojave 3, Minor Victories, The Soft Cavalry) under his belt, he is sure to turn heads in the industry.So buckle up and get ready to take a beautiful trip through dreamy and blissful lands with Moon Cowboy.
